A Fast Growing City | Explore Pakistan


Islamabad is the 9th largest city of Pakistan and become 3rd largest metropolitan city of Pakistan. It enhances so much importance nationally and internationally. There are few Districts in Islamabad division as well. The new Islamabad is build on both sides of National Highway based on housing scheme such as Behria town, D.H.A, P.W.D town, Ghori town and many other societies the new Islamabad is growing fast caused urbanization in extension of Islamabad city.

The main city consists of few attractions for tourists like, Peer sohawa, Daman-e-co, Zoo, Play land, Saidpur village, Bari Imam, Shahdra, Lake View Park, Rawal dam, National monument, Lok virsa, and Capital Park. There are several local and international hotels and resorts which allow VIPs, foreign delegations and businessman to take stay in Islamabad, those hotels are, Marriott, Serena, Holiday inn, and Centurus. There are sport complex in Islamabad which sometimes have international sports activities although there are security threats for foreigners in Pakistan. The other sports stadium is Rawalpindi cricket stadium which is also nearest to the Islamabad most of the sportsmen comes there stay in Islamabad. That's why most of the players prefer to take flights to Islamabad.

The Islamabad airport is an international airport having capacity for all types of passengers. There are different lobby and lounge for VIPs and first class passengers like that economy class and military has own place of boarding as this airport is military based airport, the security system is best and there are several facilities like Internet, T.V screen, phone both, and cafeteria for each passenger. From the airport you can easily get taxi and cab services the highway leads to the main city only 15 minutes drive far. You can also get transport service from hotel.
There are several markets which are best for ordinary shopping and outing, which are Super market, Jinnah super, blue area, Aabpara market, Karachi Company, Peshawar mor market and Peshawar mor weakly market. Blue area consists of offices of national and international companies, while Karachi company market consists of whole seller of CPI goods. Aabpara market is ordinary market having clothes, shoes and fast food items in it. Super and Jinnah super are vast Markets having offices, fast food, hotels, bakeries, book shop, multimedia shop, cloths, dresses, shoes and much more things.

From outside the country almost every airline from each country has flights to Islamabad some flights are directly come and some comes via different countries. If you are in Pakistan there are two railway stations for Islamabad one is I-9 industrial area station and another is Rawalpindi chaklala station. Nearest bus stations are faizabad bus stand and Karachi company bus stand.
